All That Glitters Website and Info Changes for November 2012:
We
do hope that our customers on the Eastern Coast have weathered the recent storm
over the past few days. It is not over
yet, but hopefully the worse is over.
Can't
believe we are approaching the end of 2012!
Now is a good time to consider holiday purchases. We have settled into our West Coast Office
for the winter. Not all of our inventory
is available, but we may have access to some items back in our headquarters in
New England.
Here
are the changes to look for on the All That Glitters Website for November 2012:
This Month's Special: 78+ct Oval Cab Ocean Jasper from Madagascar
A really
fine specimen of Ocean Jasper that we couldn't pass up because of the
aesthetically pleasing patterns and colors!
This Month's Gem News: The King in Exile: The Fall of the Royal Family of Burma
For those
interested in history and countries known for colored gemstones, this book would
seem to have both. Haven't read
it yet, but hope to in the future!
Newly Faceted or Photographed Gemstones:
The
final Kunzite has been faceted by our Award Winning Supreme Master Gem Cutter
from the unique crystal obtained from the Oceanview Mine in California. This is a really fine important gemstone that
should be seen in person. Had our cutter
completed the faceting just one week earlier, we would have entered it into the
cutting competition within AGTA!
Congratulations to our cutter noted above - he won 1st place under Classic Gemstones
and took an honorable mention under the Phenomenal
Gemstone category in the AGTA contest recently!
