Newly Faceted or Newly Photographed Gemstones:

Finally, the owner of All That Glitters has finished cutting an uniquely shaped Blue Flash Amethyst!  It only took about 2 months…  (It is also this Month’s Special!)

Two gemstones have entered the All That Glitters Inventory, both faceted from our rough and cut by the owner of All That Glitters, L. Allen Brown.  One 16+ct Lab Grown Alexandrite and a 14+ct Blue Flash Amethyst.

We also have about 5000 faceted gems in the All That Glitters Inventory and many are not photographed – but there are still many hundreds that are photographed and available, throughout approximately 200+ pages on the All That Glitters website.

 

Gemstones in Cutting:

We have started faceting a Fancy Blended Ametrine in the All That Glitters office.  It is taking some time to insure a flat table in order to dop the gem prior to starting.  Until this is done, we actually have no clue as to the future shape – it is an odd shaped gem and we are studying to determine the best shape and yield.

The Blue Flash Amethyst in a modified oval shape has been completed after being in work for two months and can be found on the Newly Photographed page (as well as the page devoted to Quartz)!   Check it out – it is this Month’s Special also.

There is very little new rough presently and we already have representations faceted from that rough, including:  Blue Flash Amethyst, Blended Ametrine, Tourmaline, Color Change Diaspore, Yellow Beryl, Color Change Garnet, Umbalite and Rhodolite Garnet, Synthetic Alexandrite and others….
