Gemstone Dealer Sees Prices of Fine Gems Increasing

In an email from one of our associates living abroad and who travels to different countries to purchase gem materials, he had the following to say recently:

"Prices are very high as the Chinese and Russians are buying up top stones ans paying top prices. Not much new stone coming."

Update on the 9 lb CA Gold Nugget

The 9 pound CA Gold Nugget supposedly found in the Northern California early in 2010, is apparently a true story for the most part, but the weight has decreased by 33%.

The 6 pound nugget goes up for auction in March 2011.
