All That Glitters Website and Info Changes for November and December 2025!

Note that we will be out of the country from mid-November until mid-December.  Therefore, there will be no Monthly

Remember – The Tuson Show is coming up in Jan/Feb, so if you will be visiting the show, we can bring items for you to view in person.

Gemstones in Cutting:

Update – One of our cutters who has had two pieces of interesting rough described below, has failed to come up with cutting designs over the past few months and the rough is on its way back to our office.  We will continue to find a cutter for these two items.  Due to their uniqueness, it has been difficult to have these pieces worked, but we are still trying!

We have a Diaspore started by one of our previous cutters but was left unfinished many years ago (after trimming an original segment/crystal of Diaspore, we obtained about a 100ct piece; the pavilion was started with a few facets and the table and crown area is quite large and must be cut down in the future and the entire piece completed – though the trimmed piece was 100cts, the existing piece in progress is now about 33cts, and it is expected that the finished piece might end up being about 15cts if we are lucky, but we are contemplating a fancy high dome top which might have a checkerboard or opposed bar top.)  This piece has an interesting story, being in the hands of 3 different multi-award winning cutters (AGTA Cutting Edge Awards) as well as a cutter who is known for some unique designs. The 2nd piece that one of our cutters is looking at, is a deep red Oregon Sunstone, with a green rind around the red and then this goes to clear out to all the edges – relatively common in this material when the nice reds are found.  This has copper schiller running in more than one direction and 90 degrees from each other and so this is something that might be sleepy when cut, but could have good color; it is also possible that we will create a cab.

There is very little new rough presently in our inventory in general and we already have representations faceted from that rough, including:  Blue Flash Amethyst, Blended Ametrine, Tourmaline, Color Change Diaspore, Yellow Beryl, Color Change Garnet, Umbalite and Rhodolite Garnet, Oregon Sunstone, Lab Grown Alexandrite and others….

All That Glitters Jewelers Showcase!

All That Glitters had teamed up with Stuller Settings - Choose a Setting/Design for a Gemstone in the Comfort of Your Home!   Once you have made your choice/selection, save it.  We will be notified via email and can provide you a special All That Glitters discounted price, typically about 35% off the price that had been displayed; what is calculated is the retail price, so we must recalculate to give you the All That Glitters Discount!  Note that savings on All That Glitters colored gemstones could be as high as 75% or so off retail, since we purchase as close to the source as possible, and there are no others in between the purchase of the rough or faceted gemstone.  Contact us if you have found your special gemstone in our inventory and we can provide the dimensions if not already stated on our website – you can search the All That Glitters Jewelers Showcase for that shape and those dimensions to find that special setting…
