Newly Faceted or Newly Photographed Gemstones:

http://www.allthatglitters.co/Photos_New.htm

Nothing new has been photographed or recently faceted.  We do have many hundreds of faceted gemstones available that have yet to be photographed and they may be found in our Inventory Lists.

An Oregon Sunstone, with various colors but predominately light green with hints of blush, was completed by the owner of All That Glitters from rough recently purchased on the Oregon Sunstone Trip back in June!  Nice shape, great colors, super cutting!

Faceted by the owner of All That Glitters, a 38.14ct Blue Russian YAG (Yttrium Aluminum Garnet) has come off the dop.  Check out the photo and video!

After literally a 3 year wait, two large important Oregon Sunstones have been returned to us from one of our specialty cutters.  It was June of 2018 when two approx. 100ct pieces of Oregon Sunstone rough were sent to a multi-award winning cutter (DH).  As two pieces done by this cutter in the past were returned about 6 months after being received, we expected the same timeframe and that is what was conveyed to us.  That timeframe stretched into 2.5 years; he stated numerous times that he would start them soon – but that never happened and we requested them returned in November of 2020.  We sent these two pieces to a very capable cutter who studied under the previous cutter noted – and in 6 months, we finally had the results!  After a three year wait, we have two Oregon Sunstones which weigh almost 40cts each – a 35+ct Elongated Cushion with sharp corners, of a coppery orange color with some schiller and a 38+ct Equilateral-Looking Triangular piece which glitters/sparkles in all directions and is of a light yellow color.  Both are hand grooved vs. flat faceted.

Gemstones in Cutting:

Three gemstones failed to make it through the cutting process for various reasons.  There is very little new rough presently and we already have representations faceted from that rough, including:  Blue Flash Amethyst, Blended Ametrine, Tourmaline, Color Change Diaspore, Yellow Beryl, Color Change Garnet, Umbalite and Rhodolite Garnet, Synthetic Alexandrite and others….
