All That Glitters Website and Info Changes for June 2011!
Gold continues to climb and prices in gemstones and most things are increasing. As noted before, Americans will be out in the cold as more of the population of India and China continue to buy everything of interest and value as their standards of living increase as well does their income. China's salaries are catching up to those in Mexico. As stated on NPR yesterday, in the future the America economy will continue to improve as China continues it's growth; those living in that country will become wealthier. As Americans shift position in the list of global salaries/income, America will not be purchasing from China as we will not be able to afford Chinese products, but we will certainly be SELLING to China and that will increase income and stimulate the American economy....
Sales have been quite brisk. It is interesting to note that there have been several inquiries of late requesting more information on items. Once provided, given assurances on returns if necessary, indicating that they should read more on our website to understand who we are, testimonials, ATG in the News/Trade, they don't pull the trigger to make the purchase and then loose the item because another customer or store made the purchase first.
If there is something that you feel you would like to purchase, don't be afraid as it is a win-win situation. We have a 7-day return policy and a lifetime guarantee. You can read more on our Policies Page:
We have an outstanding 30 year record of customer satisfaction, which includes value. With only about 5 returns in all those years, this is an unheard of track record. Those 5 returns were not because the customer didn't like the gemstone or didn't feel it was a great purchase/value, but related to loosing one's employment on the Monday following the purchase, or one's family member believing that Emeralds only come from Columbia and not Brasil! (Of course, we typically know the country of origin when selling an item since we are very close to the source which saves our customers money. We do attempt to put origin on our receipts. Had we not stated Brasil, there would have been no problem. There are some extremely fine Emeralds that come from Zambia, Brasil and at times even North Carolina!)
