Traveling Again:

Last trip of the year.  Off to the jungles of Costa Rica.  Shipping of packages might be delayed since we will be out of the country.  We will attempt to answer emails, inquiries and process orders to some extent while away- shipping will not happen until about the 22nd onward.

Newly Faceted or Newly Photographed Gemstones:

We are seeing the results via photos and videos of newly faceted gemstones from rough sent to one of our specialty cutters.

This includes a Blue Flash Amethyst, Red Zircon, Golden Scapolite, two Color Change/Shifting Garnets, numerous Oregon Sunstones many with Copper Schiller and several LuAG Lab Grown Garnets for use in Pet Scans (grown for the medical industry and we are faceting this neon glowing material for gemstones!).  We have posted photos of these gems on the Newly Photographed page and it is believed that by the end of September, we will have them in our office and will re-weigh, do all the associated tracking/paperwork, enter the info into our database, then work on some videos and finally create code to display descriptions of each gemstone as well as posting either photos, videos or perhaps both.  This will take about a week or so once we have begun that intensive process.  We will be traveling internationally again, so it is very possible that all the information, photos and videos of these new gemstones might not be posted until early November.

Update – We are still awaiting our package containing our newly faceted gemstones; held up waiting for a few more pieces to be completed vs. having to send another package at a later date.   Expecting it within approximately 10 days and will attempt to write text, create tables and hopefully add the photos/videos/descriptions to those tables on our Newly Photographed page.  If all goes well, this could be done prior to leaving the country on our most recent upcoming trip.  Next months email for December will contain a list of what has been faceted, but check in prior to receiving the December Email/Newsletter as we do anticipate the photos/prices/descriptions to be online shortly if all goes well.

We also have many gemstones not photographed and available in our inventory and described in our Inventory Texts list for those who wish to peruse those lists.  Though many of the gemstones listed there might be photographed, there may be even more that are not photographed!   https://www.atggems.com/Inventory_Lists.htm

Gemstones in Cutting:

Most of the rough sent to our specialty cutter has been faceted and we hope to have them in our possession in a few weeks.  We will be traveling internationally again, so it is very possible that all the information, photos and videos of these new gemstones might not be posted until early November.

Update - As noted further above, the recently faceted All That Glitters Rough will be back from one of our specialty cutters possibly shortly.  We have started faceting a Lab Grown Alexandrite in a Pixel Design if all goes well.  It has been dopped and as of the other day, the shape has been roughed in (Length/Width approx.) and working the first two facets of the pavilion (the P1’s) and hope to make some progress if time permits.

There is very little new rough presently in our inventory in general and we already have representations faceted from that rough, including:  Blue Flash Amethyst, Blended Ametrine, Tourmaline, Color Change Diaspore, Yellow Beryl, Color Change Garnet, Umbalite and Rhodolite Garnet, Oregon Sunstone, Lab Grown Alexandrite and others….

All That Glitters Jewelers Showcase!

All That Glitters had teamed up with Stuller Settings - Choose a Setting/Design for a Gemstone in the Comfort of Your Home!   Once you have made your choice/selection, save it.  We will be notified via email and can provide you a special All That Glitters discounted price, typically about 35% off the price that had been displayed; what is calculated is the retail price, so we must recalculate to give you the All That Glitters Discount!  Note that savings on All That Glitters colored gemstones could be as high as 75% or so off retail, since we purchase as close to the source as possible, and there are no others in between the purchase of the rough or faceted gemstone.  Contact us if you have found your special gemstone in our inventory and we can provide the dimensions if not already stated on our website – you can search the All That Glitters Jewelers Showcase for that shape and those dimensions to find that special setting…
