This Month’s Special:  Estate Pearl/Diamond Custom Hand-Made 14kt Ring!
From an estate, this ring was been cleaned, polished and tested as 14kt.  One of our goldsmiths who did this work, indicated that it was a hand-made ring and the person whose family it belonged to indicated that it was also a custom piece – which most would certainly agree on when viewing it.  For something different, we have obtained information on the various expected pricing and have shared it on the Monthly Special Page – For This Months Special, We Are Accepting Offers!

 Traveling Again: 
After having just returned from a trip to Northern Italy, off to Amsterdam in October.  Shipping of packages might be delayed since we will be out of the country for about 12 days.  We will attempt to answer emails, inquiries and process orders to some extent while away- shipping will not happen until about the 14^th of October onward.
 
 
Newly Faceted or Newly Photographed Gemstones: 
We are seeing the results via photos and videos of newly faceted gemstones from rough sent to one of our specialty cutters.
This includes a Blue Flash Amethyst, Red Zircon, Golden Scapolite, two Color Change/Shifting Garnets, numerous Oregon Sunstones many with Copper Schiller and several LuAG Lab Grown Garnets for use in Pet Scans (grown for the medical industry and we are faceting this neon glowing material for gemstones!).  We have posted photos of these gems on the Newly Photographed page and it is believed that by the end of September, we will have them in our office and will re-weigh, do all the associated tracking/paperwork, enter the info into our database, then work on some videos and finally create code to display descriptions of each gemstone as well as posting either photos, videos or perhaps both.  This will take about a week or so once we have begun that intensive process.  We will be traveling internationally again, so it is very possible that all the information, photos and videos of these new gemstones might not be posted until early October.
Update – the package is delayed partially because we cannot accept it when it arrives as we will be out of the country; expecting it in late October and hopefully photos/videos/descriptions will be uploaded in time for the November Monthly Email.

Gemstones in Cutting:
Most of the rough sent to our specialty cutter has been faceted and we hope to have them in our possession in a few weeks.  We will be traveling internationally again, so it is very possible that all the information, photos and videos of these new gemstones might not be posted until early October, but our goal will be the end of September if all goes well. 
Update - As noted further above, the recently faceted All That Glitters Rough will be back from the cutter possibly by the end of October.  Sometime in the future, we hope to facet a Lab Grown Alexandrite in a Pixel Design if all goes well.  It has been dopped and just waiting for having sufficient time to start as well as finish the faceting!
There is very little new rough presently in our inventory in general and we already have representations faceted from that rough, including:  Blue Flash Amethyst, Blended Ametrine, Tourmaline, Color Change Diaspore, Yellow Beryl, Color Change Garnet, Umbalite and Rhodolite Garnet, Oregon Sunstone, Lab Grown Alexandrite and others….
