Newly Faceted or Newly Photographed Gemstones:

(Nothing recently photographed, but we might re-photograph a number of gems so as to obtain better photos, or even perhaps photograph some of large inventory which has yet to be appear in any photos.)  We have about 5000 faceted gems in the All That Glitters Inventory and many are not photographed – but there are still many hundreds that are photographed and available, throughout approximately 200+ pages on the All That Glitters website.

 

Gemstones in Cutting:

We have started faceting a Fancy Blended Ametrine in the All That Glitters office.  The shape is an oval, but it is taking much longer than anticipated or hoped.  Need more time to produce a killer of a gem, so timeframe to completion is unknown.  This gem has been dopped and in cutting for a few months.  Once all the initial facets have been cut in, it is just a matter of polishing all those facets again with approximately 3 more laps, each one with a finer polish.

There is very little new rough presently and we already have representations faceted from that rough, including:  Blue Flash Amethyst, Blended Ametrine, Tourmaline, Color Change Diaspore, Yellow Beryl, Color Change Garnet, Umbalite and Rhodolite Garnet, Synthetic Alexandrite and others….
