July timeframe. The owner of All That Glitters may facet this piece
- expected shapes are a triangular and square gem!
All That Glitters In The News:
We
understand from one of our customers in the United Kingdom, that our large
faceted Kyanite was published in a gemology related trade publication. Several interesting pieces of All That
Glitters were photographed improptunwhile in Tucson by a member representing The
Gemological Association of Great Britain. The group of three ooohh-ed and aaahh-ed over
all the items shown from the All That Glitters Collection. We are waiting to receive a copy of their
publication and had hoped for a link to share with our customers, but that link
is proprietary and requires a username/password.
Videos to Now Appear on the All That Glitters Website:
We
have been striving to have a few videos available for some of our special
gemstones. Unfortunately, our rotating display is back east where we used
it on our TV Show, The World of Gemstones, back in the last 90s. We hope
to use this in the future to produce a 360 degree view of some gems.
Currently, we have created videos where the gemstone is held in tweezers and
rocked back and forth. We are still experimenting to insure the
color/saturation is as accurate as possible. Please bear with us.
To date, we have three videos and you can view them here, or visit the pages where
the gemstone photo and information is to be found.
More
videos may be uploaded in the future….
