"Paraiba" Defined

In recent discussions within the gemstone trade, the term Paraiba is being redefined.
Simplified, if the tourmaline has a specific color and contains both Copper and Maganese, then it can be called "Paraiba". We still like the original thought where the tourmaline had to come from the original mine where the material was first found; otherwise, one should state that the color is Paraiba-Like.
