All That Glitters Website and Info Changes for September 2015!

Here are the changes to look for on the All That Glitters Website for September 2015:

This Month's Special:  Carved Mint Merelani Garnet, Sapphire/Diamond Ballerina Ring, Sculpted Yellow Beryl
We are always interested in new things, whether it is a new find of minerals/gems or even trying something new when it comes to the Monthly Special.  We have three items displayed on the Monthly Special page for September.
Make an Offer - something new and different which we have never done in the past, but if there is positive feedback, we will occasionally do this a few times perhaps throughout the year.  We will take offers via email and at the end of the month, we will review the highest offer; if we can manage to sell it at that price, these pieces could have a new home.  We are off to the Far East if all goes well at the end of the year.  Funds obtained will be used to make purchases at the expected very high new prices that we have seen over the past few years and that we now expected to pay….

Newly Faceted or Photographed Gemstones:
Just back from the cutters within the past few days is a Fancy Concave Faceted Ametrine.  The rough weighed 97.15cts and the finished gemstone is 31.66cts.  It was faceted to show the unique coloring within the rough.  Another must see as this is a real beauty and a custom cut was created just for this gemstone - designed by an award winning cutter/artist.  Would make a great pendant or pearl enhancer and could be set in more than one way.  A row or two of white diamonds would accent the piece nicely.
Our Unique Cat's Eye Yellow Beryl has been studied by GIA and will appear in two different editions of Gems & Gemology!
Oregon Sunstone Carved/Sculpted (almost 7cts) by Award Winning Artist is now available and a must see!  SOLD!
Russian Tourmaline Crystal (26+cts) from the Malkhan Gem Tourmaline Deposit in Transbaikalia
We have added a few movie clips of a few gems:  Large Color Change Diaspore, Large Paraiba Blue Apatite, Oceanview California Kunzite (SOLD!), 12+ct Carved/Sculpted Ametrine, Large Burmese Peridot, 4+ct Round Tanzanite (SOLD!), and an impressive Sapphire/Diamond Ballerina Ring.
We have added the provenance of the French Bronze Belt Buckle found at the Battle of Waterloo - that area has just celebrated 200 years since that battle as of last month!
10 (yes, 10!) Alpaca Fashion Earrings (mixed styles) for only $100 including shipping/insurance - closeout
A 3+ct Tanzanite was mis-priced and is now far lower in price…

 Welcome New International Customers:
We have added two new international customers, one from Dubai and another from the United Kingdon (London).
The customer from the UK requested a  matched pair of EGL(USA) Certed Diamonds for the sides of a future ring being created in Italy.  Along with the certs being delivered to this customer, were two independent appraisals (replacement value) which shows a figure $8,000+ higher than what was paid for the diamonds from All That Glitters.  Another wonderful savings from All That Glitters!

New Page - Oregon Sunstone
We've created a page dedicated to Sunstone from Oregon.  At the bottom of this page, we will also display non-Oregon Sunstone but that fact will be noted.

New Page - All That Glitters Shows the Savings to our Diamond Customers:
We were contacted recently regarding a 3.03ct VSI/G Emerald Cut EGL Certed Diamond found using our Diamond Search Engine.  Besides requesting the cert, she was questioning why the price was so low as in other places she sought a similar diamond, they were approximately $17,000 more.  Yes, $17,000 more…
We explain how All That Glitters offers value and low pricing on our Certed GIA and EGL(USA) Diamonds!....

Gemstones in Cutting:
A 90+ct Deeply Colored Ametrine is being carved/sculpted and that is currently in progress.  A piece of quartz with the design is being created first, to verify the concept/design.  Update - Finished and will appear on our website prior to our monthly being sent out.  Concave Cut - but shows both the Citrine (Gold), Amethyst (Purple) and a wonderful mixing of the two colors!
One Color Changing Diaspore is being Concave faceted, and two others will be carved/sculpted.
A wonderfully carved colorful Oregon Sunstone weighing almost 7cts has been finished. (SOLD!)
Two more pieces of Sunstone (Oregon) rough were delivered to our cutter and we expect to have these sculpted over the next few months.  One has very heavy schiller and will literally dazzle the eyes if all goes well!
This work is being created by an award winning cutter whom we are just starting to work with now.
