All That Glitters Website and Info Changes for July 2015!
are the changes to look for on the All That Glitters Website for July 2015:
This Month's Special: Two
Specials This Month!
1.) We have looked at our Carved/Sculpted Oregon
Sunstone (14+cts). It seems the price
per carat was calculated
the wholesale reference, The Guide(2010), but the price was for faceted gems
that typically loose 80% of their weight during the faceting process. The recovery for carvings is higher. We have looked at the cost of cutting, the
cost of the rough and have re-priced this unusual gemstone accordingly. Therefore the price has changed dramatically!
2.) We are offering our first Customer Appreciation Discount for the month
of July - to those customers who have made purchases from January 1st of this
year to June 27th. We will credit 5%
back to those previously purchasing customers on their new July purchases, if
they made a purchase from All That Glitters during the time frame noted
above. Credit will be given upon receipt
and acceptance of the purchase.

hopes of increasing our Opal inventory with large fine quality Opals have been
dashed. After removing the mud/matrix from what seemed to be outstanding
Opal, we were left with smaller pieces after trimming out issues, grinding down
areas, etc. This represents a loss of thousands of dollars, but this is
the risk when one purchases rough material - as one is never sure of the
outcome. We will be attempting to cab a few items from the above noted
rough pieces sometime in the future.
